Beginnings: Natal Birth Chart Readings

Let’s explore your natal birth chart together! Your birth chart is an image of the sky at the exact date, time, and place of your birth. Your chart contains every sign and degree of the zodiac – you are ALL the signs! It’s also true that some of those signs, degrees, and the areas of life that they represent will pull more of your and others’ attention than others due to the planets or points located there.

The Big Three

If you’re brand new to astrology, this is a great place to start. We’ll explore your Rising Sign and its ruling planet, your Moon Sign, and your Sun Sign. We’ll also take a look at what aspects of your life they especially like to have a say about, and how they all relate to each other in navigating your life experiences.

Hello YOU! We’ll take a look at your “Big Three” and invite the other five traditional planets (Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn), plus the outer planets (Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto), to the discussion. They all have something to contribute to the conversation, and the relationships they have with each other can vary from spicy to sublime and everything in between. This is a longer conversation, and one that is never the same from one reading to the next.

What’s the Weather? Personal Forecasting

Image with information about personal forecasting.

The configuration of your natal chart is a snapshot of where the planets and astrological points were at the exact moment of your birth; it doesn’t change over time. But your life experience is ever moving and changing, as are the planetary positions. Forecasting involves utilizing any number of timing techniques (transits, solar returns, annual profections, secondary progressions, etc.) to see what parts of your chart and life may be emphasized at any particular moment — present, past, or future. We can use forecasting to look at particular areas of life experience (career, family, relationships, creative pursuits, etc.) or to get a general picture of a particular period of time, as you wish. To be clear, I don’t ever predict outcomes. I believe that forecasting is best used to think about and feel into ways to work with the changing astrological weather.
